Kings & Queens

Dassier's series of the Kings and Queens of England was originally produced no later than 1733 and listed thirty-three pieces beginning with dedication to George II and the medal of Queen Caroline. The medals were issued in bronze, silver, and a half-guilding technique with the busts in gold. The latter was used for the presentation set which is currently on display in the British Museum.

Attributions are derived from Volume I, The Dassiers of Geneva: 18th Century European Medallists by William Eisler. Numbers listed are those assigned by Eisler in the same volume.

Unless otherwise noted the medals offered here are bronze and essentially as struck.
